In 1996, the Flügel party shooter was launched on the market and Flügel Nederland N.V. was born. The Flügel product quickly positioned itself as the pre-eminent party shooter. This was due in part thanks to the drink’s eye-catching appearance and its associated unique ritual. Now, 20 years later, Flügel has become the most popular party drink in the Netherlands and far beyond.
After Flügel’s successful launch, Flügel Nederland N.V. introduced the cream liqueur Boswandeling in 1998. This mix was launched on the market as one product, in response to an existing mixing trend. Boswandeling quickly became a popular cream liqueur that can also be used in culinary applications. Boswandeling has been on the top 10 list of the best cream liqueurs in the Netherlands and has also developed an extremely loyal target group.
In 2008, Flügel Nederland N.V. added another brand to its portfolio: Fireman. Fireman has become a drink with a strong, unique character that has been a great success in both the food service and catering industry as well as with consumers. In addition to the imbibers of the Fireman brand in the Netherlands, Fireman is a shot that is also consumed quite a bit internationally.
The Rocketshot brand was launched in 2013. Thanks to our excellent sales force, we managed to distribute this product widely on the market within a short time period. Due to its recognisable sweet taste, this approachable shot was quickly integrated into the party scene. Thanks to our driven sales team, Rocketshot has quickly established it’s place in the market.
Dutch Drop 2015
As a traditional Dutch company, Flügel Nederland N.V. had wanted for quite some time to add a typical Dutch product to its portfolio. That’s why Dutch Drop was launched in 2015. Liquorice (‘drop’ in Dutch) has been the number one delicacy in the Netherlands for years and was used as the basis for developing the liquorice liqueur Dutch Drop – a true traditional Dutch product. Due to Flügel Nederland N.V.’s extensive portfolio, which over time grew to 5, the company’s was transformed into FLS Company.
Soon after the name change, FLS Company homed in on the originally American Cavôda Vodka. An amazing product with endless possibilities and a unique feature that is incorporated in the innovative design of every bottle: an LED lamp, which lasts up to 200 hours. The current portfolio consists of brands that we invent, develop and market ourselves. Cavôda Vodka is thus the first existing product for which FLS Company will manage the distribution and sales in the Netherlands.
